Sewing, Scouting, and Shooting

Getting Ready

I’m getting together my equipment for the shoot! We’ll be shooting Month of the Novel and also handling some projects for Simply Charlotte Mason for good measure.

I just spent a frenzied several minutes (felt like hours) searching everywhere for my stabilizer rig. The one time I know for sure that I’m going to want to use it and I can’t find it anywhere. Well, happy ending. I found it.

And then Rebekah and Ruth are busily tying up loose ends in the pre-production department. I can’t wait to see what they’ve done for the costumes and such. This is going to be great!

By the way, if you haven’t yet, you might want to go like the Month of the Novel Facebook page. We’d sure appreciate your support, and you’ll get the added bonus of seeing some behind-the-scenes stuff that you might not see elsewhere.

Stay tuned for more!

We’re finally ready to announce our new project! Coming this November is Month of the Novel, a hilarious web series about what happens inside the book when word-count tricks go too far. Be sure to check out the official web site for all the details!

And then come right back here, because when we start production in a week or two, we will hopefully have lots of cool stuff to share with you. Stay tuned!

Video of a Monarch Butterfly

Recently, I took this video of a monarch butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. It’s an amazing look at one of the coolest things in nature. Best watched in HD!
